The Lit-a-thon is an annually organized event by Sarasva. Being the first literary event of the year, the sole objective of this event is to inculcate the interest of the freshers in literary activities and also our way of welcoming the new students into the IIIT family.
The importance of this event lies in the fact that this is the first chance that the freshers get to make their mark. The first year students participate in teams of three through majorly three rounds namely –
Wordament ,Spell Bee & JAM
The team with the best cumulative score at the end of the three rounds are named as the winners and take home a generous prize. Apart from the three formal rounds, the participants also get chances to win goodies in the informal sessions during the event like “Trash Talk” and interesting quizzes based on Harry Potter, the Marvel universe, TV series and many more.
